The changing faces of Amos Yee | Singapore Informer

Sixteen-year-old Singaporean blogger Amos Yee, found guilty of hurting religious sentiments, has been freed after spending 50 days in remand. The teenager posted an inappropriate video of Singapore’s first prime minister Lee Kuan Yew, comparing him to Jesus Christ and belittling both. He also posted an obscene cartoon of Lee and former UK prime minister, Margaret Thatcher.

(Pictured) Yee (C), accompanied by his mother Mary Toh (2nd L) and father Alphonsus Yee (back L), walks out from the state court in Singapore on July 6, 2015.
