SINGAPORE: Women’s 100m hurdles: Thailand’s Wallapa Punsoongneun takes gold with a season’s best time of 13.56s. Indonesia’s Dedeh Erawati wins silver in 13.61s and bronze goes to Vietnam’s Thi Yen Hoa Tranh in 13.64s.

Men’s discus: Gold for Malaysia’s Muhammad Irfan Shamsuddin with a throw of 56.62m. Thailand’s Narong Benjaroon takes silver (52.59m) and Kwanchai Numsomboon, also of Thailand, the bronze (51.02m). 

Women’s 10000m: Indonesia’s Triyaningsih blows away the competition to take gold with a time of 33:44.55s. Some of her competitors are still running. 

Men’s 1500m: Vietnam’s Duong Van Thai (3:47.04s) wins men’s 1500m final. Philippines’ Mervin Guarte (3:48.06s) takes silver and Yothin Yaprajan (3:49.35s) of Thailand wins bronze.

Women’s 1500m: Vietnam’s Dho Thi Thao (4:28.39s) wins women’s 1500m final. Vietnam’s Nguyen Thi Phuong (4:31.59s) takes silver and Myanmar’s Thet Phyu War (4:33.25s) wins bronze.

Women’s pole vault: Chayanisa Chomchuendee takes gold with a jump of 4.10m. Singapore’s Rachel Yang achieves a personal best jump of 3.90m to take silver and Philippines’ Riezel Buenaventura grabs bronze with 3.60m.
