Internet service restored after 14-hour disruption: Netlink | Singapore Informer

SINGAPORE: The network outage that affected Singapore’s three telcos and MyRepublic has been resolved at 12.40am (Jun 12), after almost 14 hours of downtime.

In a news release, fibre network operator NetLink Trust said that the outage was due to damage to the fibre infrastructure caused by contractors involved in the Thomson-East Coast MRT line construction.

The outage affected customers in the vicinity around Bukit Merah, Outram, Tanjong Pagar and Tiong Bahru.

It added that individuals in the affected area can call their respective Internet Service Providers for further enquiries.
