  14. Sigh… why did we leave Wei Long so wide open during critical moments? And it had to be a Sg boy that drops the dagger on us. I need a few days to cry. I’m just very sad.

  19. Sad to see the negative comments here. I’m proud of the team. In any sport you can win and lose. Shots fall, shots miss. But you stand by your team.

  21. 3 finals in 4 years, the coach n players are good enought. Maybe what’s missing is a good sports phychologist. Their fear start appearing in last 2 mins, all the leaders disappear n waiting for someone to make things happen. And when Knight close the gap, they start to overthink. Play simple ball might have save us. By the way Delvin Goh really want it.

  26. Really sad that we didn’t win but we put on the best fight. Considering the fact that we don’t sign super star imports and we do not have any “heritage” local players at all.

  29. Slingers need to manage and perform under pressure. Waste the 10 points lead and unable to convert 3 pointers by HB and SG players shooting percentage is low. Sad to lose this way.

Hubby lost appetite to eat after the match.. its ok.. in every game there is always a winner and a loser.. lets look at the bright side at least we are at the 2nd best in ABL this year.

  34. We playing with a team of 2 heritage local! So just use this to console ourselves as Singapore use all pure local! At least there is some mins we playing with 1 import with 4 local.

  36. Yes, agree that in Game 5, we didn’t perform as well but nobody can fault the players for their determination and hunger. If it’s upsetting for the fans, then think about the players and coaches. We will just have to keep going and not lose hope. More upset of how a singaporean can celebrate so extensively in front of his countrymen after putting in the 3 points basket. Professional footballers don’t even celebrate after scoring in front of the fans of his ex-club, let alone, his countrymen

  38. We will be back next season. Delvin Goh earn his right to be call a legend and one day have his 23 retired, he look like not 100% and playing thru pain. X is always dependable. Young probably played his best game tonight in the whole playoff series. Go Slingers

  43. Never had such mixed bag of feelings for a long time till this match..such rollercoaster – happy, excited, anxiousness till sad, disappointment, angry in such short period of time. I can imagine the team feelings in particular those players who went through 3 finals. When you win some, you lose some…it’s what’s life is about. It’s a game after all but to many it’s also about glory.

The important part is to be able to stand up from where you fall, Slingers I m still very proud of you and let’s fight again the next season! be a better team! …I hope the present team stay intact 🙂
