In this exciting senior level appointment the Content Protection Manager- APAC will be responsible for reviewing actions and detecting where escalation is required using data provided by third party anti-piracy vendors. You will have excellent investigative skills, coupled with knowledge of take down tools and social media IP protection tools. You will be responsible for liaising with external suppliers and key stakeholders in addition to the development of a robust content protection strategy. The Role: The identification and removal of unauthorised content, utilising vendors and online platform systems. To protect intellectual property and content from unauthorised illegal on – online streaming and transmission. Responsible for reviewing the actions taken and the data provided by third party anti-piracy vendors and will need the ability to identify where escalation needs to be taken and provide details on the parties that require it. Using an investigative approach to assist finding services infringing IP rights, within the UK and internationally. Produce reports for licensees and relevant external suppliers in relation to broadcaster security and leaks. Create reports on online enforcement work and activities in the area. This analysis will update the day-to-day and longer term strategic decisions. The Person: Previous experience working in content protection with technical knowledge and experience of illegal online streaming and the preventative technologies available. Knowledge of the online space with experience in the removal of unauthorised content, utilising vendors and online platform systems. Ability to review raw data and to analyse trends and issues facing the business now and in the future. Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate concisely and collaboratively with Legal Services, Content Protection and Senior Commercial Solicitor in the enforcement team. Articulate with the ability to explain complex points to a wide range of audiences. Knowledge of take down tools supplied by online platforms coupled with familiarity of social media IP protection tools. Experience working with web-hosts and dedicated server providers. Detail orientated with excellent analytical and research skills. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel – you’ll be able to manipulate and analyse data using the programmes tools. Strategic and analytical in improving work streams and processes.
