Divisional Sponsorship Director, Asia Singapore – Relocators also apply Base & OTE $9,000 per month + Uncapped OTE & Overrides My client is a global producer of cutting edge conferences with offices all over the globe due to continued success a role has arisen for a Sponsorship Sales Director to take over one of the most important portfolios within the Asian business, the flagship model. Duties & Responsibilities…. People Management Recruit, develop and train a team of professional and proficient sales reps, each capable of meeting the minimum expectation of $40,000 per month target but ideally hitting $60,000. Set clear financial and non-financial milestones in place, weekly and monthly for each sales rep. By closely monitoring these you should be able to easily spot and resolve problems before they unhinge your quarterly budget. Set annual goals and targets for each sales rep which they are held accountable to. In support of this each rep should also have an annual developmental plan which uses training and coaching to support their growth and progression in the company. This is important for employee engagement and motivation. Up skilling your team is an essential part of your role. You must be prolific in gap and value selling and using a story telling technique to sell the new packages and improve ROI to our sponsors and attendees. Management Reporting Your role as a DSD is to accurately forecast and deliver the numbers for your portfolio of events. Being closer to your team and managing them through call and proposal activity should enable you to understand each person’s conversion rates and forecast clearly and accurately to see the gaps and upsides of their delivery. Monthly targets for each team member. This must be set on day 1 of the month. This gives a clear view of what success looks like for each sales person to measure themselves against, enables you to plan to hit each event target using the monthly targets and allows you to identify any problems and solve them. These targets must first be confirmed with the SD to ensure they are in line with business needs. Personal Delivery – In this role your personal sales expectation is 300k a year. This is to ensure that you focus is on building, training and developing a team as well as focusing on where the revenue is for launch and growth events. Please bear in mind the annual team target you hold is 100% your responsibility to deliver.
