  4. Actually i feel like this show is flawed. Hawker vs Restaurant. Firstly, most of the times the conclusion is the same.. (except the dimsum ep), that they prefer the restaurant version, and then add on how hawker food is ultimately value for money… isn't this like DUHHHHHHHH????

Also, there's so many hawker and restaurant stalls to choose from, there can be a damn good and worth is hawker one that wasn't featured that could be better than the restaurant version. How do they choose the stores to ensure fairness?

idk how the buzzfeed ones work… but i don't know what i should get out of this kind of hawker vs restaurant shows….

  5. Great video guys! But maybe explain why the restaurant one is better instead of just cutting to the end of the video so abruptly? To me it's just not clear why!

  6. They are not comparing apples to apples. Obviously the restaurant one would be better because the ingredients used are of a higher quality. It's like comparing the melons grown in malaysia vs melons grown in Japan.

  7. Hey guys, if you want to try Buta Kin at Beauty World Food Centre, you guys better hurry. The last time I heard, Beauty World is going to close down before Chinese New Year. But this was reported in April last year. No news yet if it has been extended.

  15. Not trying to compare too much, but maybe a quick breakdown of categories would be nice. Taste, CP Ratio (Cost / Performance). I see that you are trying to keep it fair by having the same 'flavors' of ramen at both locations, I applaud you for that. As for ideas, maybe regional food, Thai: Green Papaya Salad or Vietnam: Pho Bo. Maybe during comparisons of these regional food, have a special guest from the country? Then you may add authenticity to the categories to help us decide.

  17. I am a Ramen lover. I hope the hosts cam introduce more Ramen places because only 2 locations are just not enough for comparison.

  18. The comparison is unfair, you have to put in the consideration of everything and overall to give the rating.

For the hawker you have to put into consideration of the portion and definitely the price given. Jess gave 5/10 and before that she mentioned everything is handmade but only give 5/10

You guys should give rating on

    Price :
    Taste :
    Portion :

Then a overall points I think it's more fair for either the hawker or restaurant
