The Department is responsible for Taxi Repair and In-Vehicle Devices Maintenance; Taxi Advertisement; Process of return and issuance of taxis.Primary scope of responsibility is to manage and oversee all Workshop performances which include services, MDTs (Mobile Data Terminals) inventory control, technical support for new, unhired and scrapped taxis. The department handles all feedbacks received from hirers pertaining to vehicular problems/MDT system and manages the sub-contractor on the repair and maintenance of Taximeters/LED/Printers. Performance indicators are measured against repair/waiting time at the Service Centres, analysis of repeated faults, preventive solutions and conduct workshop audits with purpose of gathering suggestions, etc. to improve service quality.Major challenges are to build and maintain overall workshop efficiencies by establishing cordial working relationship with external working partners. Strong leadership qualities will enable the team to work productively and effectively.
